Malta, 30th September 2016 - for the second time Malta hosted the Annual General Congress of the European Alliance for Freedom. This year's theme of the Congress was "Freedom & Security in Europe". During the three days of congress members of the EAF had a possibility to exchange their views and thoughts about current situation in their countries. Security on the European continent was one of the core problem that was discussed. Participants expressed their concerns about continuous transfer of power in security sphere from national level to the EU.
This years AGC gathered participants from Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, Czech Republic, Malta, United Kingdom and many other.  The working meeting session had a joint part with European Foundation for Freedom. Members approved Annual Activity Report and Financial Stratements. Congress was followed by a Board meeting. 
During the second day of the AGC, a visit was organised to the ‘Malta at War’ exhibition, showing the immense contribution that the grit of the Maltese people made to the victory in World War II. The visit continued to the ‘Lascaris War Rooms’  and Mdina, The Silent City.
